The Crooked Hammock will host Dining Out with Miriam's Table from 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 13, at 36707 Crooked Hammock Way, Lewes. The restaurant has a big backyard with kids’ games and activities.
Miriam's Table, a childhood nutrition center in the Democratic Republic of Congo founded by Lewes residents Susie and Ed Keefer, is celebrating 10 years of service. The center feeds a nutritious meal to 350 children daily. Fifty-nine cents pays for one meal, and $155 feeds a child for a year.
Twenty percent of sales for patrons with vouchers will be donated to Miriam's Table. A digital version of the voucher is available at miriamstable.org, on Miriam's Table Facebook page or via text to 410-430-4287.
