Open Car Show set at Rehoboth Elementary Saturday, Sept. 10
The Coastal Corvette Club and Rehoboth Elementary PTO will host an Open Car Show from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 10, at Rehoboth Elementary School, 500 Stockley St., Rehoboth. The day will feature door prizes, raffle ticket auction and food. Proceeds benefit the PTO and Delaware Hospice.
A number of local Parent Teacher Organization fundraisers were held this summer at Jungle Jim's Water Park in Rehoboth Beach. Funds were raised through the purchase of water park tickets through the PTOs, and all funds remained with the school for initiatives. Carol Lingo, group sales manager at Jungle Jim's, said, "We are happy to partner with our local schools and PTOs, and we feel strongly about giving back to our community."
