Paul Leonard Thompson Jr., enjoyed repairing cars
Paul Leonard Thompson Jr., son of the late Paul L. Thompson Sr., late Richard Tunnell and late Dorothy M. Tunnell, departed to his Heavenly mansion Monday, Dec. 14, 2020. “Big Leonard,” as he was known to family and friends, attended William C. Jason High School, Georgetown.
Leonard had a passion for Corvettes and utilized his automotive skills repairing cars. In his latter years, his vehicle of choice was BMW. He enjoyed living life to its fullest.
He was preceded in death by his son, James Richards.
Leonard leaves to cherish his memories, sons Paul Reed (Marlean ) of Millsboro, Raymond Ponzo of Pennsylvania and George Ponzo (Carla) of Pennsylvania; daughters Sheree Addussalaam of Millsboro, Dorlean Tingle (Dallas) of Dover, Felicia Kitler of Florida, and Amanda Brown of Florida; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers Leslie Thompson of Virginia, Marvin Tunnell (Angie) of Harbeson and Maurice Tunnell (Tammy) of Millsboro; sisters Freedeina Carney (Earl) of Pennsylvania, Dorothy Whaley (Tony) of Millsboro and Paula Thompson of Dover.
