Peninsula Ladies Golf has first team cup

The Peninsula Ladies Golf Association from The Peninsula Golf & Country Club held its first team cup competition Aug. 2 and 3. Similar to the Solheim tournament format, women competed across two days. The ladies played two rounds of either nine or 18 holes, with the goal to win the maximum number of points for their respective team, white or black.
This required that ladies compete playing a variety of formats, including a two-person shamble, better ball of two partners, modified alternate shot, and individual match play. The white team won, earning a total of 27.5 points vs. 15.5 for the black team.
