RAL holiday fair and fine craft show to return Nov. 2-3
The Rehoboth Art League’s 35th Annual Holiday Fair - Fine Craft Show will return from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 2 and 3, to offer area residents and coastal visitors creative shopping in a historic setting.
The event will bring more than 35 craft artisans to the Henlopen Acres campus to showcase and sell their creative products. From ceramics to jewelry, from wearable fiber art to glass, the holiday fair has something for everyone.
Community members can stroll the art league grounds while visiting artisans’ booths in four different buildings – the historic Homestead, the Chambers building, the Paynter Studio and the Corkran, Tubbs, and Ventures studios in the main gallery.
Food and drink will also be available on campus, courtesy of The Point Coffee House and The Bake Shoppe, offering breakfast and lunch options in the Children’s Studio, and Dogfish Head, which will offer a selection of craft beer in the Paynters Pub.
Rehoboth Art League will have raffle tickets available for “Julia, Blue and White Robe,” an original pastel piece donated by member artist Sydney McGinley. Tickets are $5 each or five tickets for $20, and raffle proceeds will support the art league’s exhibitions and education programs.
Entry is $5 per person for the weekend which includes one raffle ticket for a chance to win an item donated by participating holiday fair artists. Children under 12 are admitted free.
