RAL to host holiday bus trip to Longwood Gardens Dec. 14
All are invited to join the Rehoboth Art League for a trip to experience A Longwood Christmas at the world-renowned Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, Pa.
Participants can celebrate the holiday season with botanical beauty Thursday, Dec. 14, as they stroll Longwood’s indoor conservatory and outdoor gardens, with more than 400 acres to explore. Lights and decorated trees abound for self-guided tours of the property. This trip is scheduled to provide time before and after sunset to ensure nothing is missed. On-site eateries will allow everyone to enjoy dinner at their leisure.
Advance ticket purchase, which includes comfortable coach bus travel and entry into Longwood, is required. The bus will leave at 1 p.m. sharp from the Rehoboth Beach Fresh Market parking lot, with check-in beginning at 12:30 p.m. The bus will begin its return trip from Kennett Square to Rehoboth at 8 p.m., with arrival expected at 9:30 p.m.
Tickets for RAL’s Longwood Gardens bus trip are $90 per person and may be purchased online at rehobothartleague.org or by calling 302-227-8408, Ext. 204. Space is limited, so early purchase is advised. The deluxe bus has restroom accommodations available onboard.
