Retired Cape educator honored by Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity

The Dover Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity inducted J. Cagney France into its hall of fame March 18 during its annual Diamond Ball.

France was honored by his fraternity brothers for more than 50 years of service to the organization.

A lifelong educator, France taught business at Cape Henlopen High School until his retirement in 2015.

Having served in Kappa chapters on the east and west coasts, France held the highest chapter office of polemarch at Delaware State College, now Delaware State University.

The Diamond Ball is held to raise funds to support scholarships for students committed to or attending an accredited four-year institution of higher learning. 

Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. is a social fraternity founded on the campus of Indiana University in 1911.
