Sea Witch Costume Contests winners announced

While the Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce could not hold its annual Sea Witch Festival this year, it kept the festival spirit alive with online costume contests for dogs, individuals and families.

The top three judges’ favorites in the dog costume category were Wesley from Millsboro as a hipster, Tater from Rockville, Md., as Notorious R.B.T. aka Ruth Bader Tater, and Stella from Rehoboth Beach with the Sailor Stella Sunk Your Battleship entry.

The top three judges’ favorites in the individual/family category were: Doug and Pam Lynn from Rehoboth Beach as Sonny and Cher, I Got You Babe; the Brody family from Farmingdale, N.Y., with Ice Cream, Anyone; and Ashley from Kingston, Pa., as Banana SunBum Chapstick.

Judges got a kick out of the Banana SunBum Chapstick costume worn by Ashley from Kingston, Pa.
He may be too cool to care, but Wesley from Millsboro was a winner with his hipster costume.
The Notorious R.B.T., or Ruth Bader Tater getup, was a costume contest winner for Tater from Rockville, Md..
Stella from Rehoboth Beach got a nod dressed as Sailor Stella Sunk Your Battleship.
