A Republican primary will be held Sept. 15.
Dover businesswoman files to run for lieutenant governor
Republican Donyale Hall, a small business owner in Dover, officially filed with Delaware Department of Elections June 2 to run for lieutenant governor.
Hall is a graduate of Caesar Rodney High School who received an MBA from Wilmington University. She is a Gulf War-era Air Force veteran and mother of 10.
She also serves as a board member of the Friends of Delaware Veterans, a board liaison with Junior ROTC programs, and is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, the Delaware Veterans Coalition, The Vines Coalition, Help Initiative, Community Garden advisory board, and The Capital Rotary Club.
“So That All May Prosper isn’t just a campaign slogan. It is my commitment to families throughout Delaware to bring economic opportunity back to The First State,” Hall said.
“From experience, I know how burdensome red tape and regulations are to the small business community,” she said. “Between the pandemic and the protests, this is a very tough time for many Delawareans, and their voices are going unheard. We need to change the narrative about how we address these issues and grow from these crises so that we come out stronger on the other side.”
Hall is challenging Lt. Gov. Bethany Hall-Long in the Nov. 3 election.
