Senior center creates Autumn Craft Market to be held Nov. 11

Indian River Senior Center has taken its annual Christmas Craft Bazaar down from the shelf. It’s been dusted off, given it a fresh coat of paint, and rebranded, and the result is the 2023 Autumn Craft Market. From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 11, crafters from all over Delaware will come together at IRSC to sell their handmade creations.

Just in time to kick off the holiday season, it’s after Halloween but not quite Thanksgiving. It’s that sweet spot on the calendar where everyone can start shopping small and spending local for their loved ones. In the past, vendor tables have displayed jewelry, wreaths, quilts, paper goods, wooden art, bags and much more. There will be light lunch fare available for purchase.

Admission is free, and people of all ages are welcome, but pets should be left at home. For more information, call the main office at 302-934-8839, Ext. 1. Crafters can download a vendor application at indianriverseniorcenterde.com or stop by to pick one up at the main office behind the Wawa on Route 113 and Route 24.
