St. Peter’s Lewes sets Holy Week and Easter services
St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, at the corner of Second and Market Streets in Lewes, announced several services and activities for all ages throughout Holy Week. All are welcome.
Holy Eucharist and the Procession of the Palms services will be held at 8 and 10 a.m., Sunday, April 10. The Last Supper re-enactment will take place at 9:15 a.m., April 10, in the lower level of the parish hall.
An indoor labyrinth walk with Taizé music will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, April 12.
A choral Tenebrae service is set for 7 p.m., Wednesday, April 13.
Maundy Thursday Eucharist with foot washing will be held at 7 p.m., April 14.
Good Friday liturgy will take place at noon, April 15.
A Stations of the Cross service with special intentions for Ukraine will be held at 7 p.m., April 15.
The great vigil of Easter will begin at 7 p.m., Saturday, April 16.
Holy Eucharist services will be held at 7 and 9 a.m. (with nursery available), Easter Sunday, April 17. An Easter egg hunt will begin at 10:30 a.m. outside on St. Peter’s Square. A festal Holy Eucharist service will be held at 11:15 a.m., April 17.
