St. Peter’s seeks donated toiletries for Blessing Bags

St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Lewes is collecting toiletries to place in Blessing Bags for distribution to individuals in need. All toiletries collected from Sunday, Oct. 1 to Saturday, Nov. 11, will be blessed at a family service and shared with the Community Resource Center and Primeros Pasos. Needed items include: $5 Wawa gift cards, gallon-size zip-top bags, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, feminine hygiene products, and any other necessary small toiletries. Donations should be dropped off at St. Peter’s Parish Hall. 

This year, St. Peter’s Family Fall Festival will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 14. All are welcome to enjoy games, snacks, crafts and trick-or-treating on the patio. A costume contest will be held, and participants can vie to win prizes for spookiest and funniest costumes. All costumes should be family-friendly themes, no gore allowed.
