Sussex Eye Center wins Small Business of the Year Award

The Greater Georgetown Chamber of Commerce awarded Sussex Eye Center the inaugural Small Business of the Year Award at a ceremony held Dec. 12. The award was presented to optometrists Dr. Hayley Sprague and Dr. Myloan Nguyen during the chamber's annual Holiday Party at 16 Mile Brewery in Georgetown.  Sprague and Nguyen were especially honored to receive awards from Sen. Brian Pettyjohn, R-Georgetown, and Rep. Ruth Briggs King, R-Georgetown. Criteria upon which the nominees were judged include community involvement, customer service, excellence in industry, innovation, and staff training and motivation.
