The Sussex Tech Adult Education Division has announced the Fall 2016/Winter 2017 course schedule. The schedule of courses can be viewed on their website or may be picked up at a variety of locations throughout Sussex County. To see the course schedule online, go to www.SussexTechTraining.net.

Again, this year the Sussex Tech Adult Education Division is offering a variety of certification courses in high demand health professions fields. Classes include certificate programs for phlebotomy technician, pharmacy technician and medical office clinical. Also, certified nursing assistant programs are available with both day and evening classes. Many of these classes are approved for funding through the Delaware Department of Labor and or the Governor's Education Grant thereby reducing tuition costs for the student. Consider one of these certification areas to jump start a career or prepare for new employment opportunities.

In addition to health professions, career and technical training is available in welding, heating/air-conditioning/refrigeration and early care education. Sussex Tech Adult Education also offers apprenticeship training in electrical trades, plumbing, auto mechanics and other areas.

Supporting the vibrant hotel and tourism industry in the area, Sussex Tech Adult Division has recently rolled out a Hospitality, Tourism and Travel Program offering training and certifications in the hospitality field.
