Sydney’s Restaurant to host grand opening and holiday mixer Nov. 21

Sydney’s Restaurant and Lounge will host a grand opening event at 4 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 21. Milton Chamber of Commerce will facilitate a ribbon cutting, and a holiday mixer will follow.

Conveniently located just off Route 1 in Paynter’s Mill, Milton, Sydney’s opened in August, serving up delicious American cuisine with a southern twist for dinner during the week, and lunch and dinner on weekends.

The event is open to the public, and attendees are encouraged to make reservations to stay for dinner and enjoy live entertainment provided by keyboardist Elliott Levine.

In addition to its delicious menu, Sydney’s hosts live entertainment most Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Following COVID-19 guidelines, it has continued to host quality musical performances by locals and non-locals alike. Blues, jazz, Americana and other musical styles continue live in Sydney’s spacious main dining room with stage. Tables are spaced to accommodate social distancing and capacity is limited, so reservations are recommended.

In addition to the main dining room, Sydney’s also offers outdoor dining on the main floor screened-in patio, and on the second-story balcony. Heaters are ready to be placed at both outdoor areas when the weather necessitates.

It is important to co-owners Ed Waples and Elton Lewis to be able to provide safe and comfortable dining options for their customers this fall and winter.

Sydney’s also is able to accommodate private parties and gatherings in its second-floor dining room or first-floor private room.

Sydney’s Restaurant and Lounge is currently open for dinner only Tuesday through Friday, and lunch and dinner on Saturdays and Sundays.
