Several local artisans, restaurants and a touch of live jazz came together at Indy Hall at Independence Oct. 11, to raise funds for Children & Families First, a nonprofit social services agency that serves thousands of children and families across Delaware.
Artists who participated were Back Bay Art Glass, Heidi Lowe, James Kinnett, Jane Knaus, Kathy Buschi, Kevin Fleming, Kim Klabe, Mary Morton, Mitzi Ash, Pamella Bounds-Seemans, Patti Backer, Margaret Gielis and Wesner Stack. Restaurants that contributed to the event were 1776 Steakhouse, Bethany Blues, Bluecoast Seafood Grill, Cultured Pearl, Espuma, Frank & Louie's Italian Specialties, Mariachi, Off the Hook and Touch of Italy.
Supporting sponsors were Angerstein's, Building Supply Depot, The Dental Group, Fabulous Faces, Fine Line Websites and Consulting, French + Ryan Inc., Kids Cottage, Metz Capital Management, PATS Aircraft Systems, Mr. Phillip Jackson, Sussex Eye Center, State Farm, Stephen & Company Salon and Spa, and Ocean Atlantic.

Children & Families First serves over 30,000 children and families each year in Delaware. The dedicated team of staff and volunteers deliver over 30 comprehensive social service programs throughout the First State. The services are child-centered and family-focused, forming a comprehensive continuum of quality social, educational and mental health resources.
