Watercolor workshop with Leo Kahl to start April 11

Milton Arts Guild will offer a three-part watercolor workshop with Leo Kahl from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Mondays, April 11, 18 and 25, in person at its gallery at 107 Federal St., Milton.

This workshop is designed to educate and inspire students to create great watercolors through a solid foundation plus a set of tools and techniques that can be unique to the watercolor medium.

Dahl studied art at the Maryland Institute College of Art, beginning a 40-year career that combined his artistry with engineering to create products and systems. He is an expert in watercolor’s history, technical attributes and endless possibilities. Dahl studied with Alvaro Castagnet, one of the world’s most prominent watercolor artists, and now teaches students in the same medium.
