William R. Marsh, Florida resort owner

William R. Marsh, 92, of Madeira Beach, Fla., peacefully went to be with the Lord after a long and healthy life Tuesday July 11, 2017. He was born in Lewes, son of Clarence F. Marsh and Ella Marsh.

He was the owner/operator of Shoreline Island Resort along with his wife Ellan for over 34 years. He was a longtime member of the Madeira Beach Chamber of Commerce. Marsh was a naval pilot and served during World War II.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Ellan; his daughter Victoria; and his brother, John. He is survived by a son, Bill Marsh Jr.; a daughter, Kathryn V. Marsh; a grandson Michael (Lauri) Marsh; and a granddaughter, Lindsay (Jonathan) Pendrich.

Family will receive friends Monday, July 17, 11 a.m. until noon, at Reese Funeral Home 6767 Seminole Blvd., Seminole, Fla. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation and committal will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the William and Ellan Marsh Scholarship at Keswick Christian School.
