Women’s Club of Milton to host bake sale, raffle and shopping event Dec. 12
The 2020 Women’s Club of Milton Holiday Bake Sale will return from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 12, outside the Milton Historical Society
In addition to delicious home-baked goods the club is known for, members will be selling raffle tickets for a handmade quilt donated by club member Nancy Reeves, unique holiday ornaments, and blank holiday notecards designed by Milton Arts Guild members Cathy Rose, Ginny Barney, Carol Yost, Anne Buck and Barbara Coffin.
Patrons will be sure to find unique items that make wonderful hostess gifts or stocking stuffers.
The Milton Garden Club and Lavender Fields will also be offering festive items for sale.
To purchase quilt raffle tickets by phone, call Paula at 302-329-9738. Tickets are $5 each or three for $12.
Holiday notecard packs are on sale now for $10 each at the Mercantile at Milton, 109 Union St.; Lavender Fields at Warrington Manor, 18864 Cool Spring Road, Milton; and Lewes Gourmet, 110 Front St., Lewes.
Last year the club donated more than $9,700 to support the Milton community. Because the club was unable to host the holiday house tour this year, its fundraising efforts have been designed for minimal personal contact. Club members and supporters are asked to wear masks and maintain safe distance from other shoppers.
The Women’s Club of Milton members wish everyone a happy and healthy holiday, and look forward to seeing guests at next year’s Holiday House Tour Saturday, Dec. 11, 2021.
