Women’s Club of Milton members send Valentine’s Day cheer
The Women’s Club of Milton brightened Valentine’s Day for many Sussex County citizens. Members created and distributed almost 500 handmade Valentine cards.
Member Mary Kay Williams coordinated the Valentine project, a club favorite. She prepared kits full of blank cards, envelopes, decorative papers and stickers for members to use to make the Valentines. Completed cards were returned to Williams and given to Meals on Wheels in Milton, Casa San Francisco, Shepherd’s Office, CHEER Sand Hill Adult Day Program and PeachTree Health Group for distribution.
The Women’s Club of Milton meets at 1 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month September through June at the Milton library. Members are dedicated to serving the community through volunteer work and fundraising efforts to improve the lives of others. For more information, go to womensclubofmilton.org.
