Women’s Fest dance events continue April 11-13

April 10, 2025

CAMP Rehoboth Women’s Fest events will continue with a singles dance at 4 p.m., Friday, April 11, at Aqua Bar & Grill, 57 Baltimore Ave., Rehoboth Beach. DJ Peggy Castle will play a variety of songs for meeting, mingling and maybe connecting.

The all-female rock ‘n’roll band GirlsRoom will headline the Women’s Fest Premier Dance from 7 to 11 p.m., Saturday, April 12, at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center, 229 Rehoboth Ave. The group consists of drummer Jill Brady, formerly of The Girlfriend; bassist Terri Brady; guitarists Lois McDuffee and Glenda Diem; and vocalist Barbara Phillips. Phillips’ range covers a wide variety of artists including Linda Ronstadt, Brandi Carlile, Chrissie Hynde and Pat Benatar, to name a few. Between the band’s sets, DJ Peggy Castle will keep the dancers going with hand-picked song choices designed to get everyone up and out on the floor.

The Atlantic Sands Ballroom will be the site of the farewell social featuring Mama’s Black Sheep, Christine Havrilla and Regina Sayles, at 12 p.m., Sunday, April 13. The popular local performers will have the crowd dancing in the aisles. The event includes light hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar.

Dances may have limited seating, available on a first-come, first-served basis. For accessibility needs, contact accessibility@camprehoboth.org.
