Women’s Council of Realtors Sussex announces accolades

The Women’s Council of Realtors Sussex County recently celebrated its members’ achievements and announced the organization was recognized as a 2024 Certified Network by the Women’s Council of Realtors.

Noting excellence in leadership, professional development and community impact, the certification underscores the network's commitment to fostering an environment of growth, collaboration and success for its members. Achieving certification is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the leaders and members who have met rigorous national benchmarks to create a thriving, influential community.

Announcing the certification at the national council conference, WCOR President Kerri Hartnett said, “Achieving certified network status is a significant milestone, and I am thrilled to see Sussex County leading by example. The dedication and professionalism demonstrated by their members are what make our network so impactful and meaningful to the real estate community.”

Robin Bunting, Sussex council president, said, “We are incredibly proud to be recognized as a 2024 certified network. This certification reflects the efforts of our dedicated leadership team and members who have worked together to create a community that supports growth, promotes collaboration and elevates the role of women in real estate. This honor fuels our passion to continue making a difference in our industry and community.”

The following 2024 award winners also were recognized: Rising Star Realtor, Vince DiPietro, Northrop Realty, Lewes; Entrepreneur of the Year, Creative Concepts, Pat Purdum, marketing/operations; Strategic Partner of the Year, Law Offices of Bonnie Benson, P.A.; and Realtor Member of the Year, Sue Sisson, Keller Williams Realty, Bethany Beach.

“We are incredibly proud of this year’s award winners,” said  Bunting. “These individuals and businesses represent the very best of what our network stands for. Their dedication and hard work continue to inspire and motivate others to succeed.”

The Women’s Council of Realtors Sussex County announced the members of its 2025 board of directors. The new leadership team includes: ErinAnn Beebe, president, of NextHome Tomorrow Realty, Lewes; Tracy Peoples, president-elect, of Coldwell Banker Premier, Rehoboth Beach; Traci Clow, first vice president, of Keller Williams Realty, Bethany Beach; Pamela Robichaud, treasurer, of NewFed Mortgage Corp.; Linda Millikin, events director, of Monument Sotheby's International Realty, Rehoboth Beach; and Deardiss Richey, membership director, of Coldwell Banker Premier, Lewes.

Beebe expressed her excitement for the year ahead, saying, “I am honored to lead this amazing team in 2025. Together, we will continue to empower women in real estate and provide leadership development opportunities that foster collaboration and success for all our members. I am excited about the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.”
