Young pianist performs Mother’s Day concert

Joseph (JJ) Ohri, 8, performed a Mother’s Day concert May 12 at the Lewes Senior Activity Center. More than 100 people were in attendance for the solo piano performance, which included renditions of “The Star-Spangled Banner,” “Maple Leaf Rag,” “The Blue Danube,” “Let It Be,” “Drive My Car” and “America the Beautiful.”
Joseph, who has been playing piano more than a year, also gave a solo performance in December at the invitation of Lewes Senior Activity Center. He and his family are Lewes residents.
JJ Ohri entertained a crowd of more than 100 May 12 at the Lewes Senior Center.
JJ Ohri’s repertoire May 12 included many crowd favorites, such as “America the Beautiful.”
