“Adamson's 1969” celebrates the 50th anniversary of a tumultuous year.

Nicole J. Burton, author of “Adamson’s 1969,” will read and sign books from 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday, June 20, at Bethany Beach Books. Burton also will read and sign books at Made by Hand International Cooperative and Gift Shop in Bethany Beach from 1 to 3 p.m., Saturday, June 22.
In the fictional “Adamson's 1969,” a young Englishman gets stranded in the United States in 1969 and must navigate a strange land amid a tumultuous year that includes the moon landing, Woodstock and huge antiwar marches.
Readings are free and include light refreshments.
