Milton Theatre’s production of “Heathers: The Musical” will continue with performances scheduled through Sunday, Oct. 13, at 110 Union St., Milton.
Based on the classic 1989 film, “Heathers,” the show takes attendees on a journey to Westerberg High, where the shoulder-padded, scrunchie-wearing Heathers rule the school. Misfit Veronica Sawyer rejects their evil regime for a new boyfriend, the dark and sexy J.D., who has a deadly plan to put the Heathers in their place. A laugh-out-loud comedy, “Heathers: The Musical” presents a moving love story and an unflinching look at the joys and anguish of high school.
Audience members are encouraged to come in costume as their favorite “Heathers” character. With its blend of dark humor and thrilling plot twists, “Heathers” promises to be a spectacular kickoff to the Halloween season.
Hailing from all over the country, cast members bring a diverse range of skills and experiences to the stage, ensuring dynamic and captivating performances. A 7-piece band brings the music to life.
