July 22, 2024

Author and longtime Cape Gazette blogger Elise Seyfried will be signing copies of her fifth essay collection, “Nanamorphosis: Reflections on an Ever-Evolving Life,” from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Sunday, July 28, at Browseabout Books, 133 Rehoboth Ave., Rehoboth Beach.

As do her four previous books,“Nanamorphosis” contains stories about Seyfried’s large family and her hectic, funny, perfectly imperfect life.

With humor and heart., “Nanamorphosis” is focused on the past few years including the pandemic, her growing grandsons and her retirement after 20 years from her church job. Seyfried said, “We are all undergoing a metamorphosis, changing and growing, always more complicated and more beautiful.”

Seyfried’s essays have appeared in publications including Delaware Beach Life, The Broadkill Review, Shore Monthly, The Philadelphia Inquirer, HuffPost, Insider and “Chicken Soup for the Soul.” She and her husband Steve have produced the Rehoboth Summer Children’s Theatre since 1982.
