‘Robin Hood’ free children’s touring shows kick off July 16

The Delmarva countryside this summer will be transformed into Nottingham Forest as Robin Hood and his Merry Men travel the highways and byways to deliver a wealth of laughs to audiences young and old.

The Rehoboth Summer Children’s Theatre production of “Robin Hood” will hit the road from Tuesday, July 16 to Sunday, Aug. 25, with performances free and open to the public in more than 15 venues including libraries, camps, parks and community centers. The delightful 45-minute show features two professional actors who bring all the familiar characters to life.

Emily Wick and Jed Krivisky are Rehoboth Summer Children’s Theatre actors in residence for 2024. They create 10 characters in “Robin Hood,” including the evil Sheriff of Nottingham, the minstrel Alan-a-Dale, Will Scarlett, and a variety of cobblers, merchants and archers. With split-second costume changes and a lively sense of humor, this energetic duo scores a family-fun bullseye.
