AAUW geranium sale orders due April 21
The Coastal Georgetown branch of the American Association of University Women is using flower power to fund scholarships. All profits from its spring geranium sale will support the scholarship program.
The primary mission of AAUW is to further education for girls and women, and the branch achieves this goal in Sussex County with fundraisers for local scholarships.
The chapter is selling 10-inch hanging baskets with varied color geraniums for $13. Also available are 6-inch pots of red, white or pink geraniums for $6 each. The deadline to order is Friday, April 21. The pickup date for the flowers is Friday, May 6.
