Contractors at the new Lewes Public Library jumped on the job early this morning as they continue to fasten down the roof on the new structure. With lots of rain on us and more coming, many people from library builders to wedding planners are doing as much as they can now to create dry working and celebrating conditions for the soggy and windy days ahead.
With tropical storm Joaquin now upgraded to hurricane status and following an uncertain path, the sense of urgency is spiking up a few more degrees.
