Start with Cranberries & Apples

Lucky for us my visiting daughter creates amazing plant-based dishes from ingredients on hand, no recipe. We followed her around the kitchen as she pulled a bag of cranberries from the freezer, a bag of apples from the pantry, a few spices from the spice rack, and a little sugar from the shelf. After sorting, peeling, chopping and mixing, she concocted a topping of oats, almond flour, whole grain wheat flour, cinnamon, brown sugar, walnuts with applesauce and plant milk for moistening.  The results after an hour at 350—a delicious, festive dessert for the whole family!
