Mann and Sons announces Farm and Land Division
Mann and Sons Inc. announced Nelson Davidson has joined the company, having come from New Castle County with more than 40 years’ experience in land acquisition and development. Nelson will be partnering with Bob McVey and Susan Giove developing a Farm and Land Division to identify properties and their potential. Combined, the team has over 70 years of real estate experience in Delaware.
McVey joined the U.S. Coast Guard after graduating from Cape Henlopen High School in 1980. In December 1994, he became a Realtor and joined the family business. In April 2001, after achieving the highest enlisted pay grade of master chief petty officer (E-9), McVey retired from the Coast Guard and began his second full-time career in real estate. He became an associate broker in November 2002 and received the Century 21 Masters Club Emerald Award for 2003.
He is well versed in residential and commercial sales but considers land acquisition and development his strongest assets. As a broker, McVey has the necessary experience and commitment to guide clients through their real estate ventures. Whether it is property sales in the Rehoboth Beach area or a larger parcel for development, he will provide the information needed to begin an educated market assessment.
Giove moved to Delaware from New York 15 years ago and never looked back. Her professional experiences have centered on service to others - first in nursing, then the restaurant industry for over 10 years and now real estate. She quickly obtained several certifications which focus on today's technology as well as concentrating on the resort and second home market. Giove has completed and passed the State of Delaware's Brokers Licensing Examination. As a realtor, Giove works with buyer and seller clients from start to finish. She handles all the details of a sale for her clients.
