Aging with Confidence is a seminar set for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, April 16, in Rehoboth. Presenters will be Dr. Jessica Bohl of First State Health and Wellness in Rehoboth and Melissa Crispell, certified natural health practitioner and certified nutrition specialist.
When working with a wellness practitioner the goal is not only to change a score on lab tests, but to improve the body's function. The result is more energy, fewer aches and pains, and better quality of life.
Aging with Confidence is perfect for the person of any age who knows their health can be improved, but needs resources to make those improvements. It is also helpful for those seeking an alternative treatment to chronic underlying health issues that don't seem to respond to previous medical treatments.
"Melissa's presentations are informative yet entertaining, and the content offered can be life changing for so many people. She is truly a wealth of knowledge when it comes to natural health and healing," says Bohl.
A combination of simple tests will be explained and explored through a holistic wellness practitioner’s perspective. These common predictive biomarkers give a glimpse into the body's well-being and intricate inner function.
Options to improve these results will be discussed with a focus on natural means. This will include lifestyle changes and available supplement programs.
The seminar will take place at Lula Brazil, 234 Rehoboth Ave., Rehoboth Beach. Cost is $25 and includes lunch. For more information or to make a reservation, call 302-645-6681 or email jlittle@firststatehealth.com.
