SoDel Cares donates $4,000 to Lord Baltimore Elementary School PTO

May 22, 2016

SoDel Cares, the philanthropic arm of SoDel Concepts, recently donated $4,000 to the parent-teacher organization at Lord Baltimore Elementary School in Ocean View to put toward the purchase of new playground equipment.

“We are so happy to help out our local public schools whenever we can,” said Scott Kammerer, president and CEO of SoDel Concepts. “Studies show that playtime can lead to better academic outcomes for young students. We’re thrilled to help this great PTO purchase fun, safe, age-appropriate outdoor playground equipment.”

Jen Lovellette, president of the Lord Baltimore Elementary School PTO, said the group is grateful for the generous donation. "It is truly wonderful to see the support from our community go directly to the students,” she said.

SoDel Cares was established in 2015 so SoDel Concepts could continue the philanthropic endeavors of founder Matt Haley. The company is dedicated to helping those in need in the communities in which it does business. For more information, go to sodelconcepts.com.
