First State Pickleball Challenge Warming Hearts & Hands For Charity!

Sixty coats were collected by the First State Pickleball Club as a result of the recent Pickleball Challenge. These coats were collected to present to Kelly Sugrue, a teacher, to distribute for children in the Mariner School. Pickleball time was donated by Dave Marshall at Dave Marshall’s Tennis & Fitness Center, Grotto Pizza donated pizza to the 42 contestants to overcome the calorie burn of pickleball, and Sports At The Beach donated socks and hats to accompany the coats. And looking at the thermometer, not a moment too soon!

Pickleball Ambassador Dudley Sluder organized the pickleball challenge, and the following were winners:
