E. Lewis Gray, volunteer firefighter
E. Lewis Gray, 79, of Frankford, passed away surrounded by his loving family Sunday, Dec. 18, 2016, in his home.
He was born March 15, 1937, a son of the late Everett Lewis Sr. and Lettie Timmons Gray.
Mr. Gray was the former owner of Gray's Towing and Gray's Mobil Station in Frankford, and a lifetime member of the Frankford Volunteer Fire Company.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Elma Kunsman Gray; two children, David L. Gray and his wife Donna, and Dayna L. Aliberti and her husband Rocco; three grandchildren, Michael, Megan and Dustin Aliberti; and a great-grandchild, Carmichael Aliberti. He is also survived by two sisters, Edna M. Wyatt and Phyllis Donaway; and one brother, Joseph Gray and his wife Doris; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 21, at 11 a.m., in the Frankford Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 43 Thatcher St., Frankford, where friends may visit one hour before the services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Frankford Volunteer Fire Department, P. O. Box 99, Frankford, DE 19945.
