Lions International has 35 clubs in Delaware, and 13 of those clubs are in Sussex County. In Sussex County, the clubs provide preschool eye screening, pay for glasses and hearing aids to those in need, deliver meals to shut-ins, build ramps for wheelchairs, provide medical equipment, clean up the enviorment, plant grass at the beach, recycle cans and many more projects.

If interested in joining this organization, contact Jim Coverdale of the Milton Lions Club. There are two new clubs being formed in the area - one is in Goergetown and the other near Long Neck in the development of Independence. Jim can find contacts there as well. Jim's number is 302-384-8737.
