Delaware Symphony Orchestra appoints Kristin Peterson as development director
The Delaware Symphony Orchestra announced that Kristin Peterson from Lansing, Mich., has been hired as development director following a nationwide search involving 72 applicants and five semi-finalists. Peterson began her work March 6. She has more than 20 years of development experience, including positions with Michigan State University, Albion College and the Lansing Symphony Orchestra.
DSO Executive Director Alan Jordan said, "We are so excited that Kristin will be joining our DSO team. She comes with a wealth of experience and is so personable and fun that I know our patrons and community will quickly welcome her."
Peterson said, "I am delighted to be joining the team at the DSO. I look forward to getting to know the people of Delaware and to increasing support for the orchestra by building successful partnerships throughout the state."
