The Lewes/Rehoboth Major League All-Stars fell to Nanticoke July 15 with an 8-4 loss, ending the team’s run in the bottom bracket of the District 3 playoffs.
Brian Fleming went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer in the game. Ty Hudson delivered with a booming home run. Sam Kerstetter was 2-for-3 with a double.
Andrew Calloway knocked a three-run homer for Nanticoke. Gavin Spicer picked up the win.
Lewes/Rehoboth had made it past Georgetown 6-5 and Millsboro 6-5 before they lost to Milton to move into the bottom bracket. Lewes/Rehoboth finished with a 2-2 record in the District 3 tournament.
