The Georgetown Senior League girls pounded out 11 runs in the first game of a doubleheader to take an 11-0 victory over Millsboro. They then overcame an early deficit to take the nightcap 6-2 to win the two-team District III tournament and advance to the Senior League World Series July 30-Aug. 6.
