The Cube 3D theater to open with ‘Justice League’ Nov. 17 at Movies at Midway
Just in time for the holiday blockbusters, The Movies at Midway announces the opening of The Cube, southern Delaware's first premium large-format theater. DC's "Justice League" will be the first feature to open in The Cube Friday, Nov. 17.
The Cube will enhance the movie-going experience with the latest cinematic technology. The laser projector will provide the clearest cinematic picture possible on a silver screen that's 58 feet wide and 24 feet tall. The Dolby Atmos sound system will deliver 47 audio channels throughout 51 speakers covering the walls and ceiling of The Cube, bringing three-dimensional sound effects all around the audience. Theater guests can enjoy the enhanced sight and sound in The Cube while relaxing in luxury seats.
In an ongoing effort to make The Movies at Midway accessible to all, The Cube offers closed captioning and assistive listening devices, including headphones for both hearing and visually impaired narration. Ticket pricing for The Cube will be $12 for matinee and $15 for evening shows. For movie listings and show times, go to MoviesatMidway.com.
