Rusty Rudder Reunion weekend begins tonight

Employees from 33 years of the Rusty Rudder are getting together at the Lighthouse Cove 6 p.m. Saturday night, Oct. 22 for a cocktail party/fundraiser for Ronald McDonald House Charities.  The Funsters will play and food will be provided. There will be a cash bar.  The cost is $25.

The donation from Rudder employees, past and present, and attendees will be made to the Ronald McDonald charity in memory of Tim Renghoffer, a longtime Rudder employee who passed away this year.

People will be getting together informally from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday night, Oct. 21 at Taco Toss at the Lighthouse and at the Rudder for Love Seed Mama Jump from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.  "There is no charge for these events," said Martha Sweeney who is helping to coordinate the reunion.  "We have over 100 people in from out of town for the weekend for the event."
