Sandra Kelly Kren, physical therapist

Sandra Kelly Kren, 77, of Dagsboro passed away after a short battle with cancer Monday, Sept. 23, 2019. She was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., Dec. 27, 1941, of the late Jack and Alma Kelly.

Mrs. Kren made her career as a physical therapist where she worked in many venues throughout her lifetime. In her spare time she loved reading and traveling, attending book club, and making treasured memories with her friends. She was a member of the American Association of University Women, Christian Mothers and the Society of St. Vincent DePaul.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Kren was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Gerard Kren. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Fred Kren of Dagsboro; three children: Jacqueline Schieferdecker and her husband Kavin, John F. Kren Jr., and Mark Kren and his wife Carrie; and six grandchildren: Max, Jack, Nicholas, Alyson, Timmy and Liam.

Friends may call at Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Clarksville Chapel, 34874 Atlantic Ave., Ocean View, Thursday, Sept. 26, from 2 to 4 p.m., and again from 7 to 9 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Monday, Sept. 30, at 11 a.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Route 17, 35318 Church Road, Frankford, where friends may visit beginning at 10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Kren's name to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
