Resorts 55+ Expo donates $1K to Meals on Wheels

More than 2,000 visitors attended the 4th Annual Delaware Resorts 55+ Expo held Nov. 2 at Cape Henlopen High School in Lewes.
Proceeds in the amount of $1,000 were donated to Meals on Wheels Lewes-Rehoboth.
Organizers extend thanks to lead sponsor Beebe Healthcare as well as presenting sponsors Aquacare; Baird, Mandalas & Brockstedt; Blue Rock Dravo Bay; Cape Gazette; Clean Energy USA; Midway Motion Fitness; Schell Brothers; The Lodge at Truitt Homestead; and WMDT/ABC 47.
Community members were offered free flu shots, health screenings and a wealth of valuable information on improving the 55+ lifestyle in the resort region.
The Delaware Resorts Health-Fitness & Leisure Expo will take place Saturday and Sunday, March 7 and 8.
