The Lewes-Rehoboth Rotary Club celebrated its 91st anniversary in February.
Since 1929, the Rotary Club has quietly and significantly been making the community a better place to live, work, go to school and raise a family. Through its various fundraising activities, it has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for local charities over the years.
The club most recently donated to the Historic Lewes Farmers Market and Autism Delaware.
The Lewes-Rehoboth Rotary is seeking new members to support its volunteer efforts as the community faces COVID-19. Club members are actively mobilizing to assist with local food bank needs, support procurement workers at Beebe Medical Center by supplying meals, and recruit drivers for Meals on Wheels in Lewes.
Activities and fundraising efforts continue. Three new individuals are being prepared for induction into the club.
