American Legion Post 28 offers carryout dinners
American Legion Post 28 in Millsboro is open and serving curbside carryout to veterans and members of the community from 3 to 7 p.m., Wednesday to Saturday. To order, call 302-945-1673, Ext. 16, after 2:30 p.m.
The dinner menu for each day will consist of four hearty selections posted to the legion’s Facebook page. Also available for purchase will be ready-to-cook meals, dairy products, fresh meat selections and miscellaneous paper products, as well as a limited beer and drink selection.
Patrons are asked to call upon arrival for carryout. Credit cards or cash will be accepted for payment.
Founded in 1983, the post is the fifth-largest in the country. The post is now seeking to serve veterans from the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, and is prepared to provide care and welfare to these veterans and those who follow.
