Welcome to Medicare online sessions start Sept. 2

Delaware Medicare Assistance Bureau and the Delaware Department of Insurance will host free Welcome to Medicare online information sessions at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 2; and 10 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 10.

Attendees can ask questions about their new, different type of health insurance. In addition, important deadlines exist for certain new benefits. New and soon-to-be beneficiaries can meet with professional staff members and learn about Medicare benefits, supplemental insurance policies, Medicare Advantage plans, and prescription drug coverage.

Delaware Medicare Assistance Bureau is the Delaware State Health Insurance Assistance Program. A free service, the bureau provides unbiased information and counseling to people covered by Medicare.
