Phyllis Barbara Sheppard, loved her family
The Perry and Sheppard family would like to inform loved ones and friends of the passing of Phyllis B. Sheppard, 79, of Lewes. She passed peacefully Friday, Oct. 23, 2020, in the care of Beebe Healthcare. Phyllis was born Nov. 15, 1940, to the late Theodore and Naomi V. Perry of Lewes.
She loved her family and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who made life that much more colorful. She was a hard worker who retired after 20 years from being a CNA at Stockley Center in Georgetown. Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents and loving husband, James William Sheppard Sr. (Bro). Phyllis leaves to mourn and cherish her memories: are children, Prentice Perry (Georgia) of Harbeson, Warren Perry (Theresa) of Bridgeville, James William Sheppard Jr. (Tornita) of Lewes, Sonya Sheppard of Cool Spring, Anthony Sheppard (Tyniece) of Cool Spring, Zelda Sheppard of Millsboro and Taniesha Sheppard of Cool Spring, along with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, Oct. 31, at noon, at St. John’s Baptist Church, 26602 Mount Joy Road, Millsboro, where friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon. Phyllis will be laid to eternal rest at People’s Memorial Park in Rehoboth Beach.
