Milton Fire Department brings Santa to town

Milton’s annual Christmas parade may have been canceled, but that hasn’t stopped Santa from coming to town with a lift from the Milton Fire Department. 

The fire department has been providing “Santa runs” within town and in the outlying developments throughout December. On Dec. 11, Santa and his entourage rolled through Holland Mills, Anthem, Lazy Lake, Cool Spring Farm, Cool Spring Manor, Poplar Grove and Milton Meadows. 

The final Santa run will take place Sunday, Dec. 20, starting at 6:30 p.m. The route will include Hunters Mill, Meadows at Beaver Creek, Trails of Beaver Creek and Shoreview Woods. For more information, visit milton85.com.
