Barbara Crocker Winsor, retired nurse
Barbara Crocker Winsor, 79, of Lewes died peacefully, after a short illness Thursday, Dec. 24, 2020, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes. She was born Feb. 27, 1941, in Boston, Mass., daughter of the late Keith and Dorothy Wilcox.
Ms. Winsor embarked on a lifelong career in healthcare as a registered nurse, a massage therapist and a Reiki practitioner. She enjoyed birdwatching, jigsaw puzzles, loved the water and watching the ocean. She was also an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
Ms. Winsor is survived by her ex-husband, Benjamin Thomas Winsor of Lewes; her sons: Brian Christopher Winsor of Framingham, Mass., Jeffrey David Winsor and his wife Denise Lynne of Dauphin Island, Ala., and Matthew Stephen Winsor and his wife Kathryn Mary of Lizton, Ind.; her daughters: Kimberly Ann Winsor of Punta Gorda, Fla., and Deborah Lynne Winsor of Lewes; her granddaughter, Samantha Morgan Winsor of Lizton; her half-sister, Helen Aftosmes and her husband Charles of Brooksville, Fla.; and her half-brother, Frank Belliveau and his wife Jane of Orlando, Fla.
All services are private. Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.
