Lisa Marie Didycz, Cape District employee

Lisa Marie Didycz, 55, of Milton passed away Thursday, Jan. 21, 2021, at Christiana Hospital in Newark.  She was born April 13, 1965, in Pittsburgh, Pa., daughter of Oliver and Lucinda (Caimi) Morris.

Lisa was an employee of Cape Henlopen School District for 23 dedicated years.  She also held positions at Harbor Healthcare and Northern Communities.  She was a former member of St. Leo’s Church in Pittsburgh.  She was a skilled cook and baker, and had a vast collection of candles.  Above all, Lisa cherished time spent with those she held most dear.  She was a loving and devoted wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Lisa is survived by her beloved husband of 31 years, Robert Didycz of Milton; her son, Alexander Didycz of Eden Prairie, Minn.; her daughter, Cassandra Arnold of Georgetown; her granddaughter, Vivienne Arnold of Georgetown; her brothers:  Joel Jennings of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Christopher Morris of Harrisburg, Pa.; and her sister Jennifer Jennings of St. Joseph, Ill.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, services will be private.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.
